Standing for Election May 2022

This was the first time that I have personally stood for my own election.

With the country and indeed world slowly getting back to normal after the Covid Pandemic of 2020, it was a challenging time for everyone. Residents all over the country had mixed emotions about the pandemic and its handling, so you can imagine as a candidate for my first ever local election, when I spoke with residents the questions were varied whilst still being full of passion and emotion.

However, I and my fellow candidates still continued to speak to the residents of the Bexley Borough, our message was simple, we are here to discuss your local issues, how do you feel about the London Borough of Bexley, how can we help to #MakeBexleyEvenBetter ?

This being the first time for me, I can honestly say that I enjoyed meeting our residents and helping to assist with their concerns. The fact that I could go back to them with answers gave me a sense of fulfilment, for me it was simple, a resident asks me a question, if I am unable to answer it, I’ll simple go back to them with an answer!
